LB874 History of autoimmune disease associated with an increased risk of cutaneous immune related adverse events among patients with advanced cancer

Cutaneous immune related adverse events (cirAEs), are the most common effect of checkpoint inhibitors (ICI). The relationship between history autoimmune disease and future development cirAE is unclear; we sought to evaluate this possible association. In single institution retrospective case-control study, extracted demographic clinical information from electronic medical records among patients who developed a (n=648) control group 504 did not develop 1/1/16-6/29/21. History prior ICI initiation based on predefined criteria was used as independent variable. Multivariate logistic regression, controlling for relevant co-variates (age, sex, subtype, cancer type/stage, ECOG score), determine association development, severity. Among 648 1/1/16-6/29/21, 103 (15.9%) had diagnosis initiation, 43 (8.6%) population. Patients an elevated odds developing (OR:1.97; p<0.001;CI: 1.319-2.946); there no with increased severity these patients. These results may provide clinicians ability better counsel that although associated cirAE, they appear be similar in those them without disease.
